Question:

how can I fix an unwound correction tape/wite-out dispenser?

how can I fix an unwound correction tape/wite-out dispenser? Being a sloppy cursive writer and a fan of pens as opposed to lead utensils, I tend to make mistakes that only white-out solutions can fix. I usually use BiC wite-out pens, but I tried switching to the rolling correction tape seen at http://www.amazon.com/BIC-Correct-Correction-Tape-1pk/dp/B00006IF8S/ recently to see if using was easier than the pen.

I tried testing it, saw that it wasn't working, and, not quite thinking, pulled the tape a little bit. This calibrated the tape to get the correction solution to rub off on paper (as it should), but there is now a large loop of used tape extending from the dispenser.

Ironically enough, I now need to fix my correction tape. Is there any way for me to wind it back up so that the loop of tape is no longer there? If so, please let me know. I haven't been able to find a fix via search, so I'm assuming it may be a bit difficult, but I'd like to try repairing it.

Thanks in advance for any help.
