Advice on teaching special education? I am going to school for childhood and special education in New York. Wanted to know if anyone had any friendly advice...thank you!

Well my cousin needs special education and from dealing with him I would say patience is something you will always need to have. I would also say even though they are different they are people no matter what so treat them that way. Use manners, be kind, but don't be afraid to use discipline. Also... be able to change a plan if needed. Working in the special ed department can be unpredictable.

sure treat them like people like like an (IT) make sure they are safe and ...........well just treat them like normal people ...........i watched a movie called instinct today it involved a lot of special people in it.It was very good!!!
