ANTHROPOLOGY HELP!!!!!!? hey. This is not in my notes but I am supposed to write and essay comparing the thais and the lakots family life. Weird I know. But here is what they need.
• size of family (Lakota 50-500 people in "Bands") I need thai though.
• the types of kinship ties connecting relatives
• type of home and who lives in it (Lakota is tipi)
• the types of things--errands, duties, roles--relatives are expected to do for the family (I have all this information for lakota but I need it for thai.)
• types of jobs or careers held by family members
• the importance of family in each culture
Answers:
Look up an ethnography concerned with Thai family life/kinship. There will be some somewhere.Even if there are none focussed on family life within any cultural summary of the Thai there will be attention paid to family life.
