I am planning to do check cashing business(MSB) in MD, what bank can I open business checking account?
I am planning to do check cashing business(MSB) in MD, what bank can I open business checking account? I called and asked more than 20 local and national BANKS, but all answered me "NO, we can't open bank account for check cashing business!!", I am frustrated, how can I start my MSB if I don't have bank account... is this big change after 9-11? or is there any bank or way to open business checking account for money service businesses? please let me know what bank and how to open it? I have all licence and documents, but don't know what BANK support check cashier? thank you

Boy you like to take a lot of risks. Too many dishonest people out there. A lot of bad checks. I wouldn't even think of it. Check out prosper.com and become a lender. More safer, you will not meet borrowers and no paperwork. You will still need a bank account.
