all these little engines work about the same,, turn both the fuel and the air needle vavles clock wise to close them,, then turn one and a quarter (1 1/4) turn counter clock wise,, this is a general area setting,, now adjust each screw a little at a time until it appears to be working at its best,, since these carbs wear out from the friction of fuel and air,, there is no exact adjustments every time!
